What is the best island to live in the Caribbean?

What is the best island anywhere in the Caribbean for a couple in there 20s to live.?

  • low crime, friendly people, opportunity, beach

  • Answer:

Well that is going to be a little bit hard, for example Barbados is a good destination, however its very expensive there in terms of living, and jobs there are not as diverse as in the states or any were in the Caribbean for that matter. Barbados offers jobs in the Financial and Tourism sectors and some manufacturing with services in business another avenue, but not much. Tobago which is apart of Trinidad is also another wonder full place however jobs are mainly found in the tourism sector and life is also more affordable there. Antigua is the same, with St Kitts and Nevis, having tourism dominate there economy and service in business and finance. However all areas have good beaches and wonderful people, and great beaches. Puerto rico is the most diversified economy in the region close ties with USA being a common wealth of that nation,so too are the Virgin islands, they too have good beaches. Bahamas great for the beaches, and friendly people, supports one of the biggest offshore business sectors in the world, and close proximity to the US makes this a heaven for Americans, however you'll it a little bit more expensive to live than even USA.
