What do to over winter break?

Winter break-what should my family do for winter break?

• we don't have anything planned and i would really like to do something exciting, fun, and get to spend some time in warmer areas with the family. (Like in the southern areas of the US) We've been on cruises, but we're not sure if it's too late to sign up for a cruise at this time of the year. Anyways, if you guys have any suggestions what my family can do, it's greatly appreciated. Thnx :)

  you can sign up for cruises throughout the year, so I don't think it is too late. Many cruises also offer discounts to last minute travelers, so talk to your travel agent about that possibility. Another possibility would be Puerto Rico. . . it has all of the trappings of another country but isn't technically one, so you don't need passports. If you want to go to another country, try Costa Rica; it's amazing. Argentina or Brazil would also be a good possibility because our winter is their summer. The Atlantis resort in the Bahamas also offers winter deals, as do many of the beach resorts in South Florida. But you have to be careful when traveling to Florida in the winter because one week it can be warm and the next it can be freezing. Whatever you choose to do, you should definately consult a travel agent. They can help you plan your trip and find you great deals.
