What would you do if you were stranded in an island?

If your hungry on a empty stranded island what would be the best thing to do for food?

  Nothing but sand? Well then, you're pretty screwed. You can be hungry all you want, but you're going to die of exposure before hunger any day. Obviously you gotta get your food from the ocean, so time to start to fish. And how you are going to catch a fish with just your hands, good luck. Personally, I would pray we are in the tropics, then I would start looking around for crustaceans and shell fish. Those are much easier to catch with my hands. Keep an eye out for crabs, and look in holes and under coral for lobster. Most likely, since the island is all sand, there will be large areas in the ocean close by with a sandy bottom. Maybe even with some eel grass. Check that area out for conch. You get one or two of those a day, and you could probably live a pretty long time. But like I said previously, you're going to die of exposure first. So you better start digging and make yourself a little cave to crawl into. If you dont find shelter, the food isn't really going to do you any good.
