How old is Kona island?

Im staying at Royal Kona Resort on Kona Island?

• I have never been out of the states, what is the most popular thing to experience and from personal experience what do you suggest we do that's close to this resort. We will have a car so we can eventually check out the whole island.

  I don't know of a Kona Island anywhere. I do know of Kailua Kona as a destination on the Big Island Hawaii of the Hawaiian Island. If Hawaii is your destination - it is one of the 50 states of USA, so you will not be going outside the country. I am not familiar with this particular resort, however you will be close to the water, and there plenty of water based activities available close by - like snorkeling trips, sailing trips, whale watching trips, etc. I am glad that you have a car when you get there. It is not easy to get around without a car. You go around the Island in a few hours. I hope I have answered your question. The reference to Kona Island does not seem to work out as a destination for travel. I think you headed to Hawaiian Islands. If not please submit your question with more clarification
