Where To Find Best Book Deals Online?

Where can I find a cheap (all-inclusive) trip to somewhere hot? (IE: Cuba)?

  • Okay, here's the gist of our situation: Some friends and I (all 18-20 years of age) are looking to go somewhere hot to get away for awhile. We all have part-time jobs and live with our parents so we don't have any major problems about saving up our money to go. We were thinking maybe Cuba, because we have looked into it and it seems to be the cheapest compared to places like Jamaica or the Dominican Republic. However, we are having troubles finding a good deal online. We have gone through many different websites, some that offer trips for as low as 400 dollar (for Cuba) and that's including taxes, however when we look into the hotels being offered or the area, they seem kind of...sketchy... and the hotels are dirty looking when we look them up on tripadvisor.com. They also don't include everything, just things like breakfast, or in some cases no meals at all. We are interested in something that is more all-incusive, on a beach (or very close to it), where we can pretty much eat and drink by the beach all day. The better deals we have been able to find are about 600-800 dollars (including the taxes), but I know we could probably get cheaper. I have heard many times that if you wait a month or even closer to the date that you leave that you will get much cheaper deals, but we have to keep in mind that we need at least three weeks notice to book time off at most of our jobs. Secondly, some of us want to go pretty soon, but its already the end of January and we won't have money saved up until the beginning of March earliest (and we are already planning another trip in mid-march to Montreal, Quebec so it would have to be at the end of March). And then some of us want to go during the winter because they feel its pointless to go during the summer when its already hot here anyways. So our options here are going within the next couple months while its still cold, going in the summer, or going next winter in perhaps December. So, I guess my main question here is WHERE can we get cheap deals that offer all-inclusive resorts? Other important questions are when should we go (best time of the year for money, weather, excetera), which country/area we should go to (if we want to avoid things like a lot of bugs but also get the tropical vacation we are looking for), and what are some personal experiences anyone has had in booking a trip that could help us make our decision. Thank you for any help :)!
