    St. Lucia. October is in the dry season but it will still be lush, green, and beautiful with miles of white sand beaches, friendly people and turquoise seas. Trust me. I have been there 12 times.

Any Caribbean Destination would be great because during the time you will be visiting, it will be the dry season so NO RAIN.

October is still hurricane season in the Caribbean, but there are a few islands outside the "hurricane belt". Aruba is one of these. Aruba tends toward a desert landscape but it's really quite beautiful and the beaches are really great. We had so much fun there, scuba diving, 4-wheel driving on the rugged northern coast, finding & swimming in the Natural Pool at Conchi, exploring the National Park, visiting an ostrich farm, exploring caves... and on and on. There's a lot to do! Stay in the High-Rise Hotel district. That's where the best beaches & restaurants are. We stayed in Oranjestad and wished we had chosen a High-Rise resort instead - although it wasn't bad in Town by any stretch. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!!
