Anyone been on the Oasis of the Seas? Particularly a balcony room on Boardwalk?

Carnival Destiny vs. Celebrity Millenium vs. Jewel of the Seas?

  • I need help and fast. I'm chronically indecisive and my boyfriend gave me money for a Western Caribbean cruise (Cozumel) immediately. We are cruising in February and I have no idea which cruise line/ship to pick. I am 35 and he is 30. I'm partial to a balcony room, but am considering oceanview as well. I like the itineraries for Celebrity & Carnival better (a stop in Key West), but am scared that Carnival will have nasty food and too many kids and that Celebrity will have mainly baby boomers and no nightlife after 9pm. Royal Caribbean seems to have a happy medium, but my boyfriend doesn't care for the extra day at sea. Has anyone been to any of these ships & if so, how was your experience? Is Carnival too young & cheap? Is Celebrity an older crowd & boring? Should I just do Jewel of the Seas? Thanks!

  • Answer:

Carnival will be your party ship, Celebrity is built around service and is mainly 40+. Royal is middle ground with some children. Check out cruisecritic.com they rate cruise lines nd cruises. Enjoy!
