Which island in the Caribbean is best for a vacation?

Been to the DR and it was nice. The snorkeling was okay. It was an all around nice place to visit but have not and would not go back. Mexico had the best snorkeling by far of any of the places that I have been, on the Gulf side of course. Jamaica, however, has been one of the most fun and interesting Islands/places that I have been to and I continue to return as a result. Each part of the Island is different and has it's own feel/vibe. There is a lot to do beside the beach and water sports and the locals are friendly. There are falls, hiking, tours, horseback riding, great nightlife, and many more things to do. That would be my recommendation but have to say that the snorkeling is only okay, little better then the DR but no way as good as it was in Mexico.
