What's the best hotel in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands?

Looking for a hotel in St.Thomas in the US VIRGIN ISLANDS that will accomodate 2 adults and 3 children?

• in one room. We are trying to take a family vacation to St. Thomas and the hotels that we have looked at want us to book 2 rooms. Are there any NICE hotels with a beautiful beach that we can book??

  I was born in St. Thomas but I just go back to visit now. I stayed last year at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort and the rooms were clean and had magnificent views. The only problem was that it was a little out of the way from everything and the beach was pretty rocky. The staff was extremely rude upon check-in but better the next day. I recently stayed at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef and was extremely pleased with everything. I stayed there a couple years ago and I didn't care for it but it seems that they did some serious deep cleaning and upgrades because this time it was perfect. I traveled with my 8 yr old daughter and we had such a great time that we are going back to Frenchman's Reef in August. The beach was beautiful and the staff was VERY nice. Out of the 2 hotels, I would definitely choose Frenchman's Reef. Oh, and I've used the St. Thomas Nanny service to have a night out on the town and the service was EXCELLENT....even though I was hesitant....I went off word of mouth from people I know there. I just can't remember the name of the company but Marriott's concierge would know. You & your children should love it!! Have fun & maybe I'll see ya there & not even know it!! :-)
