What's a good/decent/remotely acceptable hostel in Barcelona near the cruise port?

Info on hotel near Celebrity cruise port in San Juan?

We're looking for a hotel for one night near the cruise port for Celebrity in San Juan. I've found there is the West section which seems to be San Juan and Condado and the East section which seems to be Carolina, and Isla Verde. Where exactly is the port? Is one area better/safer than the other? Any info would be helpful.

The port is in Old San Juan. Carolina and Isla Verde are closer to the airport. We stayed in Condado last year (at the Marriott) and liked it a lot. It was a very short distance from Old San Juan (in fact, one day we got adventurous and walked it!). The hotels in Isla Verde are probably more expensive than those in Condado. The main street in Condado has lots of restaurant options.

Just in front of the port is the Sheraton hotel..you can check the prizes there Condado is like 15 minutes away
