What you find in the stores in america are exactly what you find in the same stores in puerto rico ?

Ok so i am in San Juan as i type at hotel Conrad. They have many different things here than in Chicago, Especially the Coach store outlet where i got a 400 purse for only 130!! The mall has stores that they don't have in the states and the style is VERY different! They do also have the same stores but many are only here in PR! For example tho Sears sell designer things such as estee lauder and clinque, i know in Chicago they do not! PuertoRico is definately different from the states in many ways!

I have to say, for example Wal Mart, they do sell all the Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers etc merchandise, it is the same thing. However, they also sell products from the island that you may not find in North Carolina, for example. And contrary to what other person said, you CAN find winter clothes during the winter, and actually they sell really good. Why? Because people travel to the states! I used to work at a Gap store and they would bring sweaters, coats, peacoats etc. So basically yes, same thing! I hope this helps.

As for Walmart...we shopped there when in P.R. on vacation. They do not carry all the American brands that you are used to, no. They have other brands you are not familiar with. We mostly wanted food. The brands were different, but we found the same items. So, "exactly" is not the case. But, comparable.

As the naswer above you showed you the stores that are the same in U.S.A and Puerto Rico I believe some things would be the same but not everything...because even the walmarts in the states dont all sell the samethings. Hope I helped! =]

Yes. Many of them are exactly the same with the same type of merchandise. Some items are more expensive in Puerto Rico than in the states.

i dont think it would be. you know how in america there are lots of products for high school musical and stuff? well, they might not sell to well in puerto rico, so they wouldnt sell them there. and they would be interested in different products and toys and stuff than we are. i assume some things would be the same, like some of the food and the bikes and stuff. sorry, ive never been there so i dont know for sure.

Puerto Rico has all of the things that they have in the U.S...I stayed there for 2 weeks and it felt like i was still in the U.S.

Yes there is Walmart and many other stores such as JCPenney, Sears, Borders, Macys, Toys R Us, Best Buy, etc. Some merchandise at certain stores differ that in the USA. For example, JCPenney sells high end brands such as Versace, Calvin Klein, etc. In the states, JCPenney does not carry anything high end and most of the clothes and products there cater to people who shop at lower cost stores and who prefer store brands such as Arizona jeans.

Same/Same in San Juan as in a big city on the mainland except everyone speaks spanish. I didn't really like it. Too much like home but much poorer.
