I'd go with C & W. Cheaper than Digicel. You can try: http://home.cwjamaica.com/ and http://www.digiceljamaica.com/ . Hope this helps.

We have two major providers, Cable & Wireless Ja Ltd. and Digicel Ja Ltd. Their international rates are similar, both are like Ja $18 per minute, but to call other phones in Jamaica C&W has a fixed rate. So I would reccommend getting a C&W phone, though I'm with Digicel. Here are C&W's rates: http://www.cwbmobile.com/bmobile.php?snippet=products&p=consumerplan And for Digicel: http://www.digiceljamaica.com/tariffs/index.php?pa=digicel_flex

On the surface our 2 Major cell phone providers are similar: they are bout GSM networks which use SIM cards, generallly they have the same range though at times one may outdo the other depending on your location (that is high up in the mountains or deep into the country, everywhere else there is service) The difference lay in their rates. Since you arent a resident i suggest you purchase a prepaid phone.
