Which is the best resort in hyderabad for unmarried couples?

Sandals or couples resort?

  • Looking to book an all-inclusive honeymoon vacation to the Caribbean (probably Jamaica). From what I've heard, Negril has the best beaches in Jamaica and I know that there is a Sandals and Couples resort there. In terms of price, they appear to be very comparable, so I'm looking for the thing that might set one apart from the other. How does food compare? Lodging? Service? I'd really like to hear from people who have been to both Sandals and Couples and can offer a comparison. Or, at the very least, had a positive experience at one of the resorts in Negril. Thanks!

    I was at a sandals resort a few years ago and didn't really enjoy it as much as I thought I would. We had a mini fridge in our room. When I opened it I found it empty. Not only that it was unplugged. I didn't think too much of it and made mention of it the next time I passed the front desk; probably the next morning. When I told the person behind the counter their response was "that's un upgrade, mon" ... couldn't believe it. Sandals bills themselves as being ultra-all inclusive and for a stocked bar to be an upgrade I was floored. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it did bother me; considering the money we spent to be there (it wasn't cheap) ... Fast forward 5 years; actually 2 weeks ago. Friends of ours got married at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay. It was absolutely incredible! Beautiful resort, great location, friendly staff, good food, fantastic entertainment. The resort is 20 minutes from Sangster, but you never see planes. They have 3 resorts on the property, the beach (family), Suites (upgraded family) and Grand (Adults only). Got married in Couples resort Negril.. BEAUTIFUL, KIND STAFF, LOVELY beaches.. have been back every year since. just throw your flag in the sand and the staff is at your bekencall. I have been to Sandals once does NOT compare. Jamaica is a beautiful country .. for the money, activities 24/7 service. Couples is the way to go enjoy!

You may want to also look carefuly at what they offer for you to do other then sit on the beach. Drinks being brought you to and fluffy towels are fun for a day or two then what will you want to do? How is the evening set up? Do they have shows and disco and piano bar? Do you golf and if so is that covered in the cost? You get the idea. You may want to expand your search with a list of what you want to do. My kid went to Sandales with her new hubby and they were off campus on the 3ed day looking for things to do. We on the other hand have never left Hedonism week after 7 trips.

Been to Couples Negril twice. Loved it. I can't say enough about the place. You might also want to check out the message board on couples.com. There are many comments about people comparing the different resorts. I've never been to Sandals but it seams more commercial where Couples is smaller and more personnel.

There are many responses to this question on Trip Advisor, but I would say prices in the final analysis are not similar. For what you get Couples is far superior and is much more egalitarian then Sandals.

Sandals would be my vote I have had many friends visit the sandals hotel in Jamaica both Negril & Montego Bay they loved it , they go back every year since that was where they went for their honey moon
