you dont have to get skype.. go to a nearby gas station or corner store and then buy a international calling card!! it would probably be 10 canadian per hour of calling!!im in the us and im from jamaica an i buy cards all the time an call my aunts in jamaica!!

Honestly, there is no real cheap way from here, I'm in Canada too so I suggest that you send money to them so that they can get 1000 free long distance minutes on their phone (digi cell). That way they can call you any time and talk for as long as they like (1000 mins). This will last for one month at a time. It will cost you less than $20 Canadian per month.
