Jamaica: Job Outlook?
-
I wanna live in jamaica after I graduate with my BSc. less than 2 years from now. Does anyone know the job outlook for the actuarial field in jamaica or how i would go about getting a job in the actuarial field in jamaica?

Answer:
Job prospects in that field are relatively good. Few people have the discipline to achieve the required qualifications. Thats probably why soemone woudl advise you to 'wait until you an actuary first'.

Try Mutual Life or any other of the large insurance companies. You may want to wait until you are an actuary first. K

Why not get in touch with these people? http://www.go-jamaica.com/jobsmart/view_ad_details.php?id=1915 But you'd better be warned that Jamaica has quite a number of home-grown actuaries in competition with you. http://isis.uwimona.edu.jm/dmcs/math_asbrochure.htm
