I'm traveling to Spain in May?

Im traveling to dominican republic,im using rosetta stone..its it best to use spaininsh- spain - latin america?

  • ok...i been using Rosetta Stone learning program for a language....i been using spanish(latin American)...but then i wonder ..should i be using that one or just regular spanish rosetta stone..(spain)....im traveling to dominican republic....and i going to be liveing there also...

  • Answer:

Use latin American because it would be closer to Dominican language. Spain's spanish is the proper way to speak spanish. Only spain speaks spanish, Dominicans speak Dominican, Puerto Ricans speak Puerto Rican, Colombians speak Colombian. All latin countries share some of the same words with spain but most are not the same with the same meaning or pronunciation. To me Puerto Ricans and Cubans speak the closest spanish to Spain's spanish then any other latin country. All the other latin countries speak more of a slang type Spanish, you will hear people saying words that are not in any spanish dictionary or on Rosetta Stone.

We, Dominicans, have more in common with Spain. So use the Spain one.
