Boca Chica was sooooooo nice. ive stayed at Casa Marina also and was not impressed. Puerto Plata tho is my all time fav. Barcelo. Be careful to not get tangled up with VIP tour operators that will answer your questions on here bc, i made the mistake of doing that once and was scammed for 130 usd. dont give any money to anyone unless u get a receipt, i know it sounds so common scenically smart but when u give the money and they refuse to give u a receipt its too late. ive been to the DR many many times stayed in all different parts and resorts if u have any questions send me a msg... however DONT get smooth talked by anyone offering to sell u tours on here. have a great trip ;)
