What will the weather be like in Punta Cana in the beginning of April?

Does anyone know what punta Cana in Dominican republic is like in March/April, like the weather and such.?

  Well, for one thing, Punta Cana is not a town or a city.. it's just a large area with about 100,000 population that mostly works at one of the 55 (mas or Manos) resorts in the area. The nearest town is about 20 miles away.. so you won't be laving your resort to walk into town during your visit. Punta Cana sits on a point of land on the extreme East coast of the Dominicn Republic.. it is where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea meet, so that area generates it's own micro-climate. March and April are a good time to go, it's the beginning of the Rainy season, but it's at the end of the tourist season and the weather is about as mild as it's going to get for the year. If you want to know what the weather will be like, you are out of luck since weather forecasts for Punta Cana are notoriously inaccurate and only good for a few hours.. not a few months.
