Where are the best places to find good underground music?

Where can i find african culture i.e food, places,music in particular drumming in Cuba?

  • Going to cuba soon, really interested in the african culture and where to find it, we are traveling to havana and santiago de cuba. are there any interesting sights, people, shops clubs or bars that would help us see this.

    ummmmmmmmmmm EVERYWHERE! White Cubans won't admit this but If it wasn't for Afro Cubans and Fidel Cuba would be UNKNOWN! WE made Cuba FAMOUS and WE are the reason why people come to Cuba!

You will find everywhere in Cuba the African culture. But, I'll recommend you visiting Santiago de Cuba because there the black of afrocuban population is big compared to places such as Havana and Camaguey. You may also like to visit Guanabacoa (in Havana).

EVERYWHERE! Cuba is one of the most interesting places I have ever visited. Seems like everything spotted in 1958. The cars the building and houses are all a reflection of the revolution. Santiago de Cuba is where you will find many Afro Cubans. The culture, the music, the churches, the people are wonderful and rich in history. Just play according to the rules.
