    Yeah, I lived there for three years when I was wee. September is near the end of the rainy season, it's obviously warmer than UK, but it is quite rainy (hence the name). Bear in mind this is not normal British rain, but heavy rain, also watch out for tropical storms (basically a junior hurricane). It's an amazing beautiful country, and as long as you don't just plan to lie on the beach you'll have a good time whenever you go, though you'll probably enjoy it more in the glorious sunshine of the dry season.

i went there two years ago in september and it was fab. when they say rainy season dont mean it rains all day. to be honest if your laid on the beach and it starts its very plesant as it cools you down as it is very hot to wot we are use to in this counrty. just take a brolly but only last ten mins and within halh hour you are bone dry anyway.
