How much does a cruise to Barbados cost?

• Ever since I was a kid, when things went wrong or the world wasn't making sense my grandpa would tell me that someday we'd go away to Barbados together, and just hang out on the beaches and drink pina coladas and not give a crap. I'm an adult now, but I want to make those idle talks a reality as a present to my grandfather for all he has done for me. I don't know anything about planning vacations though, and I'm but a poor college student, so to make this happen I'll probably have to save up for a couple of years. The cruise websites are very confusing and I think they try to hide the cost of the vacation from you as long as possible. If you have taken a cruise to Barbados or anywhere else in the Caribbean, how much did it cost and which cruise line did you travel with? Do you know if there are any cruises that leave from Florida? (Grandpa had a real bad experience on an airplane once and refuses to fly, so it's boats only) I understand that cost is relative to a lot of variables, but I'm just looking for a ball-park sum.

  The majority of cruise that come to Barbados start from Puerto Rico like the Carnival Victory. The ships from Florida usually go to Mexico, the Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean or Western Caribbean and not the Southern Caribbean.
