Has anyone been on a Cruise to The Bahamas in December?

Anyone know about the 2-day Bahamas cruise on the "Celebration"?

  • I'm thinking about going on a 2 day cruise from Ft Lauderdale, FL to Nassau, Bahamas on board the "Celebration" (Caribbean Cruise Line).     Its a hard sell sales cruise, but if you make a decision not to buy before you go - stick to your guns, sit thru the presentations, and have a good time the rest of the time. My bro-in-law went, made it clear he was not interested very early on - he said service got very poor for him from that point, but they still enjoyed it, the food was decent, but if you enjoy alcohol - the costs equals a cruise you could go on with the high pressure sales stuff.

My husband and I are leaving on Monday for the same cruise. We bought a card for $99 and while it's only two nights it sill seems like a good value. Two nights in a local hotel would cost more. From everything I've read, there will most likely be some sort or sales pitch that you have to sit through but even so it should still be worth it.
