  • I am going to Nassau and Freeport in the Bahamas. What are some fun things to do there other than the beach?

    One of the most popular things to do in Nassau is visit the Atlantis Resort with its beautiful architecture, awesome restaurants and fantastic water park. You can also check Cabbage Beach or Montagu Beach if you are into kicking it in the sun with your toes in the water. The Crystal Palace Casino in the Wyndham is also popular (687 slot machines!). You can also take a walking tour of Nassau, check out the diving and snorkeling at Stuart's Cove, or hang with the Dolphins over at Dolphin Encounters. Freeport is on Grand Bahama, which has a lot of cool stuff to do as well... Gold Rock Beach and Lucayan Beach are both spectacular. Count Basie Square has restaurants, shops and bars are and you can listen to local live music nearly every day. If boating is your thing, then you really should check out the 72-foot, double deck catamaran of Fantasia Tours. Hope that helps!
