Has anyone been on a Disney Cruise??? How was it?

    I have been in the Disney Bahamas cruise and on it again when they were in California for the Mexico cruise. I mostly went because of employee discount hook-ups rather than because I feel they are the best. It largely depends on what you are looking for. The short broadway-style shows in the evening are probably better than any show you will see on any other cruise. The ships are beautiful and stand out (people on other cruises flock to take pictures of it when they pass). The horn is absolutely awesome - nothing else like it. And you have tons of Disney content and programming like the characters running around for photo ops. However, most of the programming is geared toward children and families. There are only a few places like the adult pool where you can hide from LOTS of kids. No gambling unless you count bingo. Basically, if you have kids and want a family cruise experience, Disney is THE BEST way to go. If you want an adult-oriented cruise that is classy, luxurious, romantic, and pampering, I would recommend something more like Holland America. Aloha

I go on 2-3 cruises a year and have been on the Disney ship just once and will never do it again. Now I am 45 yrs old with no kids, but there is no casino and that's a deal breaker to start with. The cost of a Disney Cruise is HUGE compared to other lines and I just cannot justify that much cost. I really like Holland America Cruise Line and have heard alot of nice things about Royal Caribbean. I want to be pampered when on a cruise and didn't get that feeling on the Disney Magic. But everyone has their own personal opinion. Good Luck and whatever line you go on ENJOY KG

Living in Florida we go on a lot of cruises, and Disney's is like all the rest...It's a constant moving from one thing to another. They entertain you from dawn til after dark, and it was very enjoyable..the kids had a riot..and we have a heck of a picture collection...I recommend it highly.....

The Disney cruise is well worth the money. Your entrained day and night. lot's of stuff to do for both kids and adults. The rooms are much larger and comforable than most cruise lines and very clean and the food is awesome. I would deff. suggest going on one.
