Has anyone ever been on an Atlantis All-Gay cruise before?

What does it cost to do the stuff in Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas?

  • My wife and I are going on a cruise and are very intrigued by the attractions at Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas. However, we cannot figure out what we're allowed to go to and what is only for guests of the hotel. We'd love to go to the water park/slide, the casino, some of the restaurants, and to the aquarium if we can but we cant seem to find any prices on what it woudl cost for non guests. Has anyone gone to Atlantis/Paradise Island while on a cruise? what can you do there that you don't need to be a guest at the hotel for? Atlantis.com didn't really answer my questions.

Hi G, Atlantis offers three different tours for non-guests. Your Shore Excursions representative on the cruise ship will definitely be able to arrange something, but it may be a little more expensive that way. Here's what they offer, prices as of mid-January: 1.) "Discover Atlantis" is a guided tour of the resort, aquariums, and grounds. It costs $32 for adults and $25 for children aged 4-12. 2.) "Beach Day" is about how it sounds: you get a tour and access to the beach, but not the water park. That one costs $60 adult and $35 for kids. 3.) "Aquaventure" gives you one day access to everything, but it's $110 per adult and $80 for kids. 4.) Another option is to rent a room at the Comfort Suites Paradise Island next door. You'll get full access to everything at Atlantis, and it could prove to be the most economical option depending on the number of people. When you disembark from the cruise ship, you can easily find the ferry to Paradise Island, and it's only $3 per person each way. Upon arrival, Atlantis's colorful Harborside Resort is immediately across the street from the ferry terminal. Once you cross the street, follow the sidewalk to the right which leads you into Atlantis's Marina Village, a delightful place for a stroll. Walk through the Marina Village, then pass the Marina Pizzeria and Murray's Deli. Go up the stairs and enter the main building of Atlantis. The casino will be to your left, and you can purchase tickets at the Temple of the Moon. (It's a large kiosk with an enormous moon over it in the middle of the casino) You can also take a taxi, which should cost $10 + tip for 2 people, additional fees for more people. Tell the driver to take you to the Royal Towers, and you can buy tickets downstairs in the lobby, The Great Hall of Waters. Check the pages below for more photos and info. I hope you have a great trip and that the weather is sunny and balmy!

I took a cruise to Nassau in April and the ship had Atlantis hotel as one of their shore excursions. You should really check out the excursions your ship offers. I did purchase the Atlantis beach day which was about $90 per person and we were told that we could just relax on their beach but we walked around inside the hotel and in the casino. You can also see the DIG site and the beautiful aquarium. Everything was beautiful and we had a blast. If you want to ride the water slides and go in their pools i believe it cost about $155. Hope this helps. By the way i went on a carnival cruise.
