Has anyone ever been on an Atlantis All-Gay cruise before?

How do you plan a personal visit to Atlantis when you are arriving in the Bahamas via Carnival Cruise ship?

  • Are there taxis at the port? Are there maps available on board? There is no excursion that I have seen that is going to the Atlantis Resort and hotel and we are really interested in going there. Has anyone planned a trip there - do you have a contact number? How much does the waterpark run? Thanks

    The desk as you enter the cruise ship terminal will have free maps of the island. There will be plenty of Taxis at the cruise ship pier and the price to Atlantis is set by the government at $4 per person (but they will try to make sure they have a full van load to take over). You can see much of Atlantis for free, including the lobby, aquarium, and casino, but the waterpark I hear is very expensive (maybe over $25).

There is a water taxi at the pier that goes directly to the Atlantis. The cost is about $6.00.
