Also, almost all cell-phone providers in the world allow their subscribers to receive SMS that have originated as e-mails, max 166 characters. Here is one http://www.freetxt.ca/ and http://www.txt2day.com/ Here is google's gift - free text messaging to just about the entire world. http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/mobile/sms/mail/ And, if you have a smart phone you can use the e-mail services to send SMS.
