Can a paralegal work in Canada?

Can I come to canada to work? I have family citizens and want to see Toronto?

  • Hi, Im 25 year old and have family in Toronto and Kitchener Ontario Canada. I am wanting to visit Canada for about 10 days to look for work jobs, is Toronto or Kitchener a good place? And what advice can you give for me please I want to move to Canada even for short term to see the work practises and culture there compared to Russia and UK. I have family in Canada who are citizens only I want to look for jobs. Please give me information if you know Canada Thanks Vlad

You can come to Canada as a tourist but you may not look for work unless you have permission. It's all here:

you can apply for a tourist visa but you can not work while here on that visa immigrating to canada can be a long and expensive process and you have to qualify

Vlad, You and countless thousands of others want to come here to visit and work at the same time. You are not allowed to do that. Do you understand that Canada is in the midst of a deepening recession? That means we already have thousands and thousands of unemployed Canadian citizens who are also looking for jobs. While there are some unscrupulous companies that will hire foreigners and pay under the table and in cash, when (not if) immigration officials discover this you will be deported immediately and barred from re-entry. That you have family in Toronto is great if you want to come and visit but irrelevant to anything else. Please forget about looking for work in Canada. As a visitor, you would be ineligible to work.
