How long should it take a package to clear US customs?

How long does it take for a package to clear canadian customs?

  • the package was sent with usps, and on the tracking info it said that my package arrived at customs on october 20th, it is now october 26... how much longer will it take?? i really want my package. btw the package is clarisonic, a facial cleaning brush, if that's any help. thanks

    That would depend on the shipper. They needed to fill out Custom forms properly. Do they know it was held up? Usually with USPS it only takes a day or two.

Usually it takes a day or two to clear the package, most of the time Canada post website is not good in updating the status, most of the times the parcel arrives at door, so be positive, are you checking the status on usps site?because the local carrier for them is canada post once the parcel leave US, usps site stops updating, check canada post site with the same track number.
