How to get my lost birth certificate?

aply for a new birth certificate in the village office...... make an appointment with them and ask them about hw can u get a new birthcertificate , if they told u to make a new B . C . -if u r a cristian ur church must have ur birth date on their records, so , go to the church and ask the priest to write the birth date in the form -i meant the sheet that the church has provided and get a seal of the church and a signature of the priest, then show that paper to the village officer and ask them to make a new birth certificate for u

you apply to chennai corporation along with hospital certificate.if you dint have the hospital certificate,you will have to get an affidavit ,your mother has to say when &where u were born before a magistrate.you come to cheenai corporation at rippon buildings,there will be people to guide u

You will have to contact the city where your BC is on record..... There is a department in the court house (generally) that will have the copy.

Get in touch with your hometown, it should still be on record.
