Canada post strike - Will I still get my game?

I ordered a computer game off of Ebay yesterday, and I think it'll take about 2-3 weeks to get here (it's coming from Southern California), but will that still arrive on time with the strike going on? I'm really excited to get this game and I'll be pretty upset if I don't get it fairly soon :( Ebay is the only place I could find it and no other store around here sells it.

Well that depends entirely on whether the Canada Post dispute ends up in a full scale strike or in a modified work action. Sorry if you don't get your game on time, but there are some pretty important issues on the table for the postal workers.

The strikes are rotating. It will delay delivery for sure, but mail is still on the move. However, Canada Post is discussing cutting mail delivery down to 3 days per week starting next week. This will delay the arrival of mail even further.

You'll get your game, but it will probably take longer than originally anticipated while Canada Post is on rotating strikes. I think we only have mail delivered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while the strike is on.
