What food can I bring into Canada?
-
Been awhile since I last crossed the border. I'm going camping in NB soon, on a tight budget and trying to bring as much food as I can. Can we bring in canned fruit? canned tuna? hot dogs? (they are pre-cooked) soy milk? cartons of orange juice? hard boiled eggs? coffee beans? I've been on the Canadian website and I'm not finding direct answers. Thanks.

Answer:
I have attached the best government website that you can read over yourself as it is long and detailed. Basically from safest to questionable are Canned foods would be absolutely no problem. Hot dogs and eggs are a bit closer questionable. I think your whole list is fine, but it has that chance to generate several more questions at the border that could slow you down.
