I am flying to california through air canada, I am 17 years old I need help!?
-
I would be flying straight from Ontario to California, Air Canada regards adults as 16 and over, I am currently 17, what is this notarized letter that everyone on Yahoo keeps telling me I need. How do I get it?
-
Answer:
You will need a letter of permission from your parents that is notarized, they can have that done at banks, credit unions, lawyers and notary publics for free or a small fee. You will also require a Passport, Passport ID Card, or a NEXUS card to fly via the Air from Canada to the US.

Have your parents get the letter. Though to tell you the truth, when this Canadian lived in LA until last summer, my daughter flew back and forth between LA and Vancouver at least 2 times a year from age 13 with no hassles. Just with her passport.
