How do I send small packages from Canada to U.S.A?

Does it cost to send texts from USA to Canada with a canadian phone?

  • I have a pay as you go cell phone with Telus in Canada. I can send 2500 text messages a month. I'm going to the states on Friday, will it cost me to send and receive text messages from my phone to Canada? If so, how much will each text cost me?

    An additional 20¢ charge will apply for each text message or attachment sent outside of Canada and the U.S. Premium messages are not included. http://www.telusmobility.com/en/ON/mobile_messaging/messagingpackages.shtml That's all I could find... so I would think by that they're included... but I highly doubt it. Call Telus :)

Call Telus and ask if international texting is included, or if it costs extra. It's a free call.

Quite likely yes because you'd be texting on a US network so you'd be subject to roaming fees. How much those fees would be depends on the US carrier.
