What is the best way to send a big package to Brazil from Canada?

Cheapest way to ship a package to Iraq from Canada?

  • I want to send a package to a friend in Iraq. The box will be about 11 or so pounds. I'm not sure of the dimensions, but I would guess about 15" x 12 x 8. I've checked out a quite a bit of places, the cheapest so far being Canada post at $170. Which is just crazy! Purolator, FedEx, UPS etc all range from $300 - $500. I really want to send the package, but I can't pay almost $200! Any help?

Mail will be the cheapest method, but you have to ask yourself, How much do I trust the Iraqi post office?? By any chance is your address an APO address? if so It's a US military address and you can ship it through the US mail. Same rate as you would pay to ship in the US.

You can't use the US mail in Canada/ You will have to get the package across the border (either by yourself or a friend) in order to use US Mail.

What's in there? Depending on what it is (I'm assuming canned food) then split it into small packages. Cheapest way to go and at least he might receive 1 or 2.
