What is the best cell phone plan across US and Canada?????????
-
For a frequent traveler between US and Canada, what is the best cell phone plan to minimize cost? I try to save the roaming charges across the border. Can anyone recommend?

Answer:
If you are in the US then look to AT&T as they do have plans that have a monthly fee then it is set amount of calls between Canada and the US with it, including when you are in Canada at no extra charge.

I don't think there is any that won't have roaming charges when you are outside the home country of the account. The only U.S. based prepaid that I know of that will have roaming in Canada is T-mobile to Go. I think any of the contract plans will have roaming in Canada.

Probably either the Blackberry and/or iPhone with the $29 p/m plan with Vodafone. It gets you about $120 in credit.
S'all good.
