Canada: Favorite Tv Shows/Movies & Music?

  • I am doing a report and need some tv shows or music from Canada. so if your Canadian, what do you watch/listen to?

    I tend to not watch much TV......other than televised NHL games.....but when I do, I like crime shows like Law and Order, or British shows like Misfits, Little Britain. I'll watch documentaries on the DOC station, or things on the History network/Discovery....but that is about it. I just finished watching the first season of Justified and the second season of Drop Dead Diva on Netflix. Music is varied. I like pretty much all types, except Jazz and pop-tart crap. Right now, I am going through a Classic Rock phase, so I've dusted off all my old favourites and uploaded them back to my phone. This is going to be an extremely difficult thing to write a report on, as personal tastes and preferences will change with age, ethnic background and even region.

if your writing a report you should include that Canada has laws that insure that a certain amount of content whether on tv/radio/movies/music must be Canadian in nature ie. made in canada or have canadian performers
