Does T-Mobile Cell Phones from US work in Canada?

  • i'm going on a family road trip to Canada in about 2/3 weeks.. i was wondering, will my cell phone still work when i'm there? will i be charged for calling someone? how about texting? i have unlimited texting, will it charge me if i texted from canada to someone in the U.S? :T if you know any info. please let me know ! thanks! if the type of phone matters, then i have the Sony Ericcson K660i phone. Company = T-Mobile, obviously. need more info ? let me know! thanks thanks thanks!♥

    Of course it will work however you can expect to pay extra fees for roaming outside of the country (US in your case). The only way you will know what fees you may be subject to is to contact your cell provider and ask them. The model of phone won't make a difference but it all has to do with what agreements T Mobile has in place with Canadian cell phone providers.

It will work in Canada, but you might want to change your contract for one month while you are in Canada. I apologize for the ignorance and shortness of some of the other answers.
