How can I get Canadian money exchanged for US currency in the United States without going to the border?

  • I went to Canada this past weekend and forgot to get some of my Canadian currency I got back exchanged while I was there. How do I find a place around my house in Cleveland to exchange it for American money? Is this a service that would cost a fee? Please let me know where I can exchange my Canadian currency to US currency.

go to a large US bank as some of the smaller ones do not deal in international currency OR there should be a currency exchange at the Cleveland airport and you should be able to get it done there. Either way they are going to bone you on the exchange rate the bank SHOULD bone you less than the exchange bureau
