What are some nice camping areas in southern Ontario?

Moving to London Ontario, What are the areas we should avoid and what areas should we look at?

• my girlfriend and I are moving to London in the summer because we will be attending fanshawe. Were not really familiar with the areas of London but have heard there are some not so nice areas. We are going to see some apartments soon and I have mapped them out http://alturl.com/zpvu , are any of these apartments in an area we should stay away from? and if so why? also what are some areas we should be looking at? we dont have a car so it should be easy to take a bus to fanshawe or walk. thanks in advance

They have this cool feature where you can see everything around the apartments available, (i.e shopping malls, grocery stores, train stations etc.) It's pretty cool to know whats around the place you could live at.
