I think Hamilton Ontario would be good. The realistate is a reasonable price, it's closes to Toronto and the US.

As I always say if I was going to move to Canada again I would look closely at Halifax NS. Biggest city in NS but not that big lots to do and I like the maritimes good people there and it isn't too far away from the US
