High paying careers in Canada?

High salaried careers in canada?

  • ok, im getting ready to go into college and im still deciding on what i want to do. i live in the untied states and i hate it. its a dirty place, the people are always rude, and i simply dont like it here. ive been to canada quite a few times and i loved it. the fresh air, the beautiful mountains, the kind people. i dont mind cold weather, in fact i love the cold. much better than our hot, humid days in louisiana. i was wondering what are some high salary careers in canada. i love planes and traveling, im into the outdoors, and im also into the automotive industry. or just some overall high salary careers. im actually serious about moving there because its one of the best places to live in the world. ranked at number 3. so can anyone help?

I would suggest any type of certified trade, that deals with aviation, and in particular helicopters. Canada is the second largest country in the world ( after Russia ) and we have a relatively small population ( 33 million people ) in a huge country, so aircraft are essential to our economy, especially in the north land. Engine mechanics, hydraulics engineers, flight safety inspectors, electronics technicians, aluminium fitters, and fuel system techs are all in demand. Once you have a certified trade ticket, you can work just about any where you want in Canada, Big city, small isolated town, or summer mining survey or drilling camp. Many of those summer camp air crews go to the southern hemisphere, in the Canadian winter, to work in Australia, or Africa, for a few months, to avoid the cold weather. Start by looking for US colleges that teach air craft technical courses, that are well respected and have a good record of finding jobs for their graduates . Get some years of actual work experience behind you, in the USA, than start the immigration process to come to Canada, with your trade ticket in your hand. We will be GLAD to see you then. The secret is to make your self as attractive as possible, to a potential employer in Canada. Being certified, and having some years of work under your belt , will be the charm. Good Luck in your quest. Jim b. Toronto.
