Does Canada have a criminal database where you can look up offenders like you can here in the US?

Brits with a driving conviction can't enter Canada for 5 years after the end of the ban, but if u drove in

  • from the US would the border guards have that info when they check ur passport? ...i reckon it's only at the airport where they look in their database

    I'm not sure but I'd imagine that the best thing to do would be to enter with a false passport or something. You can get them done pretty cheaply in most third world countries, including America.
