Shipment of Zippo lighters from China to Canada?

Hi, a friend of mine bought 3 Zippo lighters in Vietnam before leaving back home. He had a transfer flight in Shanghai and officials didn't allow the lighters to be carried in the suitcase. Since then (living in Shanghai) I'm trying to find some company willing to ship those instead. Seems impossible??!!! Because of the Olympics the Chinese Post refuses to ship anything like that (not even seaway) and major companies like DHL and EMS said no too. What to do now?? Can anyone help me?

Answer:
Bigger bottles with lotion are forbidden, same bottles but empty are allowed. Make sure that the Zippos are empty and declare them as "empty steel containers".
