  I have an aunt who has lived there with her husband a 4 sons for over 35 yrs, it is a nice upscale place and has a lot of features, including a community college and University. Standard of living there is about the same as anywhere else in Alberta in a city of there size, for apartment details I will give the like of the local newspaper to check prices and styles of place. I have only been there once when I worked in Edmonton back in the 1980's, but they have found it a great place for those years.
