How to immigrate to Canada?

How long do people who immigrate to Canada take to settle there. Do they get jobs as per their qualifications?

  From what I understand most Indian Degrees are not recognized in Canada. YOu would have to contact a professional association to find out how to meat the criteria. Generally people over 60 in Canada don't work but I suppose you can work. As for citizenship you should contact the Canadian embassy in Indian or Immigration Canada. A lot of people don't earn much when they first immigrate. They generally end up with low paying jobs. Although if you are qualified to do something then you would earn a professional wage.
