22 yr Indian guy coming to study/settle in Vancouver, need a friend?

  • Ok so I'm this 22 y.o. Indian guy wanting to come to Canada for higher studies but I'm hesitant because of my high social anxiety and inability to make new friends even in India, because I'm GAY I've realised that even if I have one true friend to be with and support me in life, my depression goes away and I'm able to be free and enjoy and not feel lonely. So, before I make a final decision to come to Canada next year (preferably Vancouver because I heard good things about the place), I need to find a friend on the Internet who can be with me when I come to Vancouver and provide the mental support I'd need , being away from family and friends back home, since coming to Vancouver and then making friends in face would be difficult for me like it has always been.     There are lots of openly gay people in Vancouver. Go to a gay dating website (just do a web search for one.) Davie Street in Vancouver has gay clubs, shops and openly gay people walking around hand in hand even.
