How long do I have to wait to get a new passport?

Does anyone know how long of a wait it is to get a passport at the Sinclaire center in downtown vancouver?

I want to know how long I'm going to have to wait in line...

It is still taking hours .... the federal government has not yet fixed the problem. Best bet is to get there before 8 a.m. since they are only allowing a limited amount of people in. Expect to be there most of the day. Passport Canada used to have a site available online that allowed you to see if either Sinclair or the Surrey office had the longer line up (number of minutes), also would show a chart detailing which are the busiest days of the week. I noticed they took it off line now. Probably too overwhelmed. Good luck! Cheers, Petra M, Vancouver

Yes can be long in Vancouver but try Abbotsford, as you now can get your passport there. The wait is not long from what I found out. 2 hours wait.
