Best place to learn how to snowboard is Grouse Mountain, which is right across Burrard Inlet from Vancouver. Or Seymour Mountain, which is also on the North Shore. Or Cypress Bowl, which is near West Vancouver. Or Whistler, if you want to drive the Sea to Sky Highway. There's lots of places to learn, and lots of hills to try out. Have fun!
