Relocating to Toronto,ON and after college plans?

so im from California but am only going to be a freshman in high school soon but was informed that if i want to go to college in Toronto,ON that i would need a student visa and would only be able to work around the college campus for my time being. after i finish college and if i were to become a permanent resident there would i have an issue working at any available job since i would most likely be a "permanent resident." anyone who has been in my position,ur answers are appreciated:) thank you!!

even if you study in Canada, when you finish studying you would still have to qualify to immigrate (get permanent residency) it is not easy.............................to immigrate you need to be a skilled worker
